What is Anime Exodus?

The Anime Exodus podcast is the spiritual successor to my original Desync Podcast.

Okay…What’s a Desync Podcast?

Good question. Desync is a forum I’ve been a member of for the past 5 years or so. In the spirit of bringing in some new blood to mentor (read “noobs to torment”), a bunch of us decided to start a podcast. It was about Anime, computers, and anything else. We made 2 episodes.

Well, then what?

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. No more episodes were made due to no one being able to get together. We’ve always been a disorganized lot.

Alright, so you’re giving it another go. That’s cool, but why the new name?

Well, the way I saw it, when someone sees “Desync” in the iTunes music library, they wont know what it is. I had this domain just doing nothing, so I thought “well, at least its more relevent.” Besides, “Anime Exodus” sounds way better than “Desync Podcast”

You’ve got a killer theme song, can I use it for something else?

Sure. The entire podcast is licensed under a Creative Commons Non-commercial Share-Alike 3.0 license. So as long as you’re not making money off it, Go Nuts! Eventually I’ll get around to uploading the theme song by itself.

So who are you again?

My name is Victor, but you can call me Sonic if you like. I’ve been using that name here on the internet for the past 8 years. I will also respond to Dark Emperor Sonic, so take your pick.
